Former Adilabad MP, BJP Leader Ramesh Rathore Dead

Telangana senior political leader, former Adilabad MP and BJP leader Ramesh Rathore passed away. He fell seriously ill at his residence in Utnoor on Friday midnight. Immediately his family members rushed him to a nearby private hospital. Ramesh’s health condition worsened and he was rushed to Hyderabad. It seems that he breathed his last on the way.

Ramesh Rathore, who belongs to Schedule Tribes, rose from the grass roots and he has a long political career.  Ramesh Rathore was born on October 20, 1966 at Tadihatnur in Narnoor mandal of Adilabad district. Primary education was done at Zilla Parishad Primary School in Narnoor Mandal.

He completed his inter in Government Junior College, Utnur and degree (BA) in Government Degree College, Adilabad. He started his political career joining TDP and won as Narnoor ZPTC. He won as MLA from Khanapur constituency in 1999 from TDP. In 2009, he was elected as Adilabad MP from TDP.

He also served as the chairman of Zilla Parishad. He resigned from TDP and joined BRS as part of Telangana movement. With the subsequent developments, he joined the Congress party and contested as an MLA candidate from Khanapur in 2018 and lost. In 2019, he contested as MP from Adilabad and was defeated.

After that, in June 2021 along with Etela Rajender, he joined the BJP. In last year’s Telangana elections, he contested as an MLA from Khanapur Assembly Constituency and lost.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed shock over the sudden death of Ramesh Rathore and said he left his mark in the politics of Adilabad district and remembered his association with him. He prayed to God to rest his soul. Revanth Reddy expressed his deepest condolences to his family members.

Telangana BJP has expressed grief over the death of former MP Ramesh Rathore. It was posted in X  that the sudden death of mass leader, BJP National Council member and former MP of Adilabad Ramesh Rathore is very sad. Deepest sympathy was expressed wishing his soul to rest in peace and may God grant courage to his family members and fans.

Union Minister and Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy expressed shock over the death of former MP and senior BJP leader Ramesh Rathore. “Ramesh Rathore’s death is shocking and deeply saddened. Actively worked in BJP. He worked very enthusiastically for the party in the previous Assembly and Parliament elections”, he added.
