With NTR’s ‘Devara’ Part 1 most likely to miss the April 5th date due to pending production activities, many upcoming films in Tollywood are looking to occupy the vacant slot as it will have a couple of public holidays immediately after the first weekend.
As rumoured earlier in the industry circles, Vijay Devarakonda’s family entertainer ‘Family Star’ has now officially locked April 5th as the new release. The makers of Family Star made this announcement with a new poster in which Vijay is seen running on a street with an Aadhaar card in his mouth and a gunny bag on his shoulder. He appears in a T-shirt and Lungi avatar in this poster.
Family Star, which was supposed to hit the screens for Sankranti this year, was pushed ahead due to other big-budget releases. Now, producer Dil Raju seized the opportunity as Devara is going to be postponed from April and sealed an ideal date because there are two holidays ( Ugadhi and Ramzan)in the second week of April
Directed by Parasuram, Family Star has happening beauty Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. The first glimpse hints that the film is going to present Vijay as a family person who handles domestic chores that are usually associated with females.
The solo dialogue in the teaser ‘ Airanevanchalaenti’ went viral all over social media and set up strong buzz on the film. Gopi Sundar is rendering the soundtrack for the film.
