Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed during an interview in Davos his state’s proactive approach in inviting investors from around the world. Emphasizing a global perspective, he stated, “We want to compete with the world, not with Karnataka, Maharashtra, or Andhra Pradesh. For me, the world is one village.” Revanth Reddy outlined his core focus areas as education, IT, pharma, sports, and employment across various sectors, with a special emphasis on the 30 lakh young tech professionals in the state.
In his vision for Telangana, Revanth Reddy aims to concentrate on organic food production and establish pharmaceutical villages in 10-12 clusters within the state. Additionally, he aspires to develop top-tier universities in and around Hyderabad. He made it clear that he seeks global competition rather than regional rivalry, stating, “We are inviting investors from worldwide to the state. Whether it is the BRS or the Congress, we have to continue formulating development policies.” He highlighted the importance of stable governance for attracting investments and noted the continuity of development policies over the last 30 years, spanning both the BRS and Congress administrations.
