Naga Chaitanya is presently collaborating with director Chandoo Mondeti on the film “Thandel.” The story is inspired by the true events of Raju, who mistakenly crossed into Pakistani waters and endured nearly two years of imprisonment before finally returning to India.
The next phase of filming for “Thandel” is slated to begin on June 10 at Ramoji Film City. Following a few days of shooting there, the team will relocate to Srikakulam to capture some pivotal scenes. Renowned composer Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad is at the helm of the film’s music, having already completed re-recording two tracks.
Sai Pallavi is set to portray the female lead in the movie, having previously acted alongside Naga Chaitanya in Shekhar Kamula’s “Love Story.” “Thandel” is being brought to life by producer Bunny Vas under GA2 Pictures and is presented by the esteemed Allu Arvind. The team plans to unveil this romantic tale on December 20, 2024.
