In Hyderabad, BRS leader and former minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao has responded to the allegations leveled against him in the high-profile phone tapping case that has gripped the state. He firmly denied any involvement in the case, asserting that he has no connection whatsoever to it. He emphasized that he is not acquainted with the former DSP of SIB, Praneeth Rao, who has been arrested in connection with the case, although he acknowledged knowing that Rao’s relatives reside in his village.
Expressing bewilderment at being implicated in the case, Errabelli highlighted that Praneeth Rao himself has affirmed during the investigation that there is no association between them. He suggested that the pressure to switch parties and political conspiracies are interconnected, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to his current party and asserting his resistance to any inducement or coercion to switch allegiance. Additionally, Errabelli mentioned ongoing cases against Sharan Choudary, who has accused him of land encroachment, at the Banjara Hills police station.
