Young Tollywood Heroes Show Interest in “Kill” Remake. The Bollywood action thriller “Kill,” featuring Lakshya and Raghav Juyal, has made a significant impact at the box office, earning ₹11 crore in its opening week despite fierce competition. This success has ignited interest in remakes, capturing the attention of filmmakers in both Telugu cinema and Hollywood.

Although it lacks a conventional plot, “Kill” enthralls audiences with its adrenaline-pumping action. The story unfolds during a two-hour train journey where the protagonist takes down a gang of dacoits threatening his girlfriend’s family. The narrative, reminiscent of “Extraction,” is packed with suspense and intensity, resonating deeply with viewers and keeping them fully engrossed.

Two Telugu teams, headed by Sudheer Babu and Kiran Abbavaram, have shown interest in acquiring the remake rights of “Kill” from Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. However, the Bollywood producers are seeking a lead actor with the star power and charm necessary to guarantee the film’s success not only in the Telugu market but also in Tamil and Malayalam regions.

Adding to the film’s international appeal, “Kill” has attracted Hollywood’s attention, with a remake being planned by Chad Stahelski’s company, renowned for directing the action-packed “John Wick” franchise.
