This event will be livestreamed on the ECI’s social media platforms. It’s essential to note that the current term of the Lok Sabha ends on June 16, so a new House must be formed before then. In the last election cycle in 2019, the Lok Sabha polls were announced on March 10 and conducted over seven phases starting from April 11, with vote counting happening on May 23.
