The Enforcement Directorate has sent summon notices to Anil, husband of BRS MLC Kavitha, along with PRO Rajesh and three other aides, directing them to appear before the agency on Monday. Additionally, the ED has informed the Rouse Avenue court regarding this development. During the search conducted at Kavitha’s residence yesterday, the ED seized Kavitha’s and Anil’s mobile phones, as well as two phones belonging to PRO Rajesh and three phones of other aides, totaling to ten devices. They have been instructed to retrieve these phones in Delhi.
Kavitha was apprehended by the ED yesterday in connection with the Delhi liquor case and subsequently presented before The Rouse Avenue Court today. The court has remanded her to ED custody for a week, during which she will undergo questioning by the ED officials until the 23rd of this month. Meanwhile, the ED has extended the investigation by issuing summon notices to Kavitha’s husband and four others.
