Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited next project, ‘Lucky Baskhar’, is set to entertain audiences soon. The makers of ‘Lucky Baskhar’ announced the film’s release date today.Taking to their social media handles, the makers unveiled a new poster featuring Dulquer Salmaan. Along with the poster, they revealed the date of the film’s theatrical release, revealing it as September 27. They captioned, “Gear up to witness an extra-ordinary tale of our endearing and passionate #LuckyBaskhar in theaters from SEPTEMBER 27th!”
In the film, the Malayalam star plays Baskhar, a banker who is a common middle-class Indian man. This upcoming pan-Indian film is helmed by Venky Atluri, marking his first collaboration with Dulquer. Backed jointly by the renowned producers Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the prestigious banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film stars Meenakshi Choudhary as the female lead.GV Prakash is composing the tunes for this family drama. Set for a pan-Indian release, the film will hit theaters in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.Scheduled for release on September 27, the film will compete with Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated film ‘OG’. Rumors are that Kalyan’s ‘OG’ will be postponed; however, makers have not confirmed it yet, but if these are true, it will be a big relief to ‘Lucky Baskhar’.On the work front, Dulquer was last seen in ‘King of Kotha’, which was released in 2023. His future endeavors include ‘Kaantha’ and ‘Vaan’ as the main leads, along with a key role in Sudha Kongara’s next ‘Purananooru’.
