Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh’s highly anticipated sequel ‘Double Ismart’ is set to hit theaters worldwide on this Independence Day, August 15. Kavya Thapar plays the female lead in this flick. In anticipation, the filmmakers have unveiled the third single, ‘Kya Lafda’.
Unlike the earlier released two songs, which were purely mass numbers, ‘Kya Lafda’ is a lively romantic melody. Featuring Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar, their on-screen chemistry elevates the song, set against a vibrant, picturesque backdrop.
With Mani Sharma at the helm of music direction, the song was penned by Sriharsha Emani for the Telugu version, with mesmerizing vocals by Dhanunjay Seepana and Sindhuja Srinivasan. The song was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
Promising to deliver a double intense of action and entertainment, ‘Double iSmart’, is helmed by dynamic director Puri Jagannadh and backed by Puri Jagannadh and Charmmee Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects.
Apart from the main leads, the film stars Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist, with other talented cast members including Bani J, Ali, Getup Srinu, Sayaji Shinde, Makrand Deshpande, Temper Vamsi, and others in pivotal roles.
Slated for a grand release on August 15, the film will face an electrifying clash with Ravi Teja’s mass entertainer, ‘Mr. Bachchan’ and also other films like ‘Aye’, ’35: Chinna Katha Kaadu’, and ‘Stree 2’.
