The upcoming socio-fantasy film Viswambhara, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by Bimbisara fame Vassishta, has been the subject of much speculation regarding its storyline. Putting an end to the rumours, director Vassishta has officially revealed the core plot of the film.
Speaking to the media, Vassishta explained that the narrative is based on the concept of the 14 realms—seven upper worlds and seven lower worlds—as mentioned in Indian mythology. “Until now, we have seen interpretations of realms like Yamaloka, Swarga, and Patalaloka. In Viswambhara, I have gone beyond them to showcase Satyaloka, the realm where Lord Brahma resides. The story revolves around how the protagonist reaches this divine realm and brings the heroine back,” he said.
The director had previously mentioned that sets resembling the real world were constructed for the film. With the storyline now disclosed, anticipation for the project has intensified among fans and cinema audiences alike. Industry sources indicate that leading international VFX studios are working on the film. Vassishta confirmed that significant effort is being put into creating a visually immersive world and presenting Chiranjeevi in a never-before-seen role.
The film features Trisha and Ashika Ranganath as the female leads. Additionally, it is reported that Bollywood actress Mouni Roy will appear alongside Chiranjeevi in a special song. The sequence is expected to be a remake of the popular track “Ragulutondi Mogalipoda” from the blockbuster Khaidi, although an official announcement on this is still awaited.
