The teaser launch of director Trinadha Rao Nakkina’s film Majaka landed him in the midst of controversy after he made inappropriate and offending remarks about actress Anshu on the eventful day. She was visibly disturbed by the comment, which stirred up outrage both on social media and in the audience, who demanded accountability from the director’s words.
Trinadha Rao immediately posted a video, apologizing publicly to the public. During this apology, he clarified that his comments were not wisely stated and expressed remorse at the level of discomfort they had caused. “I realize my comments hurt several people, including Anshu. My intention was never to offend anyone; I was attempting humor, but it was poorly delivered and highly inappropriate. I sincerely apologize to everyone, especially to Anshu,” he said, taking the blame whole.
The Telangana Women Commission has taken the incident seriously and may give formal notices to the director for his remarks. However, the public apology has brought hope that the matter might be resolved amicably.
It boasts Sundeep Kishan, Ritu Varma, Rao Ramesh, and Anshu in lead characters. Produced under AK Entertainments the film is planned to release in theaters on 21st February of 2025. Although all the controversy the project is grabbing, it in the process boosted peoples’ interest with the film by itself.
