One of the top producers of Tollywood, Dil Raju has also entered Kollywood with the movie ‘Varisu’ and scored his first blockbuster. Since he debuted with a success, the maker is preparing grounds for his second project, this time with an even bigger star than Vijay.
Going into the details, Dil Raju has announced that he is expanding his horizons beyond the Telugu states. As a result, he did ‘Varasudu’ starring Thapalapathy Vijay and got his own fame and space in the Tamil Cinema, which is hard for outside producers. Also, his ongoing film ‘Game Changer’ is basically a Telugu movie but would also get released in Tamil for both director Shankar and hero Ram Charan’s Pan-Indian markets. However, Raju is speculated to be lining up his second straight Tamil Film with none other than ‘Thalaivar’ Rajinikanth for one of his next films but for now, an official confirmation is awaited. Actually, Dil Raju was also a part of the Tamil movie ‘Indian-2’ initially but later he gave the movie to ‘Lyca Productions’, or else he would have completed his second Tamil movie as well with this Bharateeyudu Sequel.
Dil Raju has got a couple of releases that are presented in his home banner ‘Sri Venkateswara Film but the immediate release is Samantha’s ‘Shakuntalam’. Directed by Gunasekhar, this movie is releasing on the 14th of April.
