‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ Trailer – Slick and Racy

Gautham Menon’s long-delayed ambitious action thriller Dhruva Natchathiram, starring Tamil superstar Vikram in the lead role, is finally seeing the light of day on November 24th after lying in the cans for many months due to financial issues.

The theatrical trailer is out today evening and it promises a slick action saga with racy narration and stylish visuals mounted on a lavish scale. Going by the two-and-a-minute trailer, the film is about an elite group of specially trained soldiers formed in the aftermath of the 2008 Mumbai blasts. It is a covert team comprising a team of 10 members with similar aim and thought.

The team is called ‘The Basement’ and it doesn’t toe the line and follow any rules and regulations. Vikram is introduced as a specialist in the team who leads the mission. How he coordinates with his team and handles the task entrusted by the government forms the core narrative of the story.

Gautham Menon presents Vikram in an action-packed role with promising production values. Vikram sports an urbane get-up and looks energetic with his signature style mannerisms.

Vinayakan has his share of trademark humour in the brief screentime. Prathiban seems to be playing a pivotal role in this film. There is an adequate dose of romance between Vikram and Ritu Varma. Gautham Menon also appears in a significant character.

Harris Jayaraj comes with a scintillating score to keep the tempo of the trailer. The cinematography is amazing and so is the production design.
