Tamil star hero Dhanush K Raja’s most anticipated film Vaathi which is titled Sir in Telugu has been in the limelight ever since the project’s announcement. Keeping the hype up, the makers have finally unveiled the film’s trailer today at 6:30 PM on youtube.
The viral trailer showed Dhanush as a teacher who fights against the education mafia. His intense action sequences in the trailer added much potential to the film. The Asuran actor’s onscreen chemistry with the leading lady Samyuktha Menon turned out to as a plus for the film.
The trailer is receiving an immense response from Tamil as well as Telugu audiences. Speaking more about the project, Tollywood filmmaker Venky Atluri who delivered blockbusters like Tholi Prema, Mr, Majnu and Rang De has helmed this project. Jointly presented by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Vaathi fronts Dhanush, Samyuktha Menon, P. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani and others in vital roles.
GV Prakash worked on the strings of this venture while Yuvraj and Naveen Nooli handled the cinematography and the editing works respectively.
Interestingly, the ace filmmaker is marking his Tamil directorial debut with this project. Touted to be a coming-of-age action drama, Vaathi is slated for a grand theatrical release on February 17 of this year.
