Tamil star hero Dhanush K Raja’s coming-up-age action drama Vaathi has a grand theatrical release today. The film which is shot in both Telugu and Tamil graced the theaters in every major city with a positive talk.
Dhanush fans and netizens who watched the first-day first show of the film were impressed by the epic storyline, stellar cast and whatnot. Twitter and social media have been flooded with rave reviews and comments ever since this morning.
Vaathi is a bilingual film directed by Venky Atluri. The filmmaker is known for his Tollywood films including Tholi Prema, Mr. Majnu and Rang De. The film shows the story of a third-grade junior lecturer who fights against the educational institutes that makes profits in exchange for the children’s education.
Starring Dhanush and Samyuktha in the lead roles, Vaathi also features P. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Hyper Aadi, and others in the supporting roles. Vaathi is produced by Sithara Entertainment along with the Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios.
On the other hand, Dhanush will be next seen in Arun Matheswaran’s directorial drama Captain Miller. As per the sources, Tamil-known producers Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan are financing the project.
Apart from Dhanush, the upcoming film also roped in star actors like Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, Edward Sonnenblick and others for prominent roles. More details about this project are yet to be announced.
