The highly anticipated trailer for Dhanush’s third directorial, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) in Tamil and Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama in Telugu, has finally dropped, giving a glimpse into a refreshing romantic comedy with an emotional twist.
The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Pavish, Priya P Varrier, Anikha Surendran, Mathew Thomas, Siddharth Shankar, and Rabiya Khatoon, with veteran actor Sarath Kumar playing a crucial role.
The trailer opens with Dhanush playfully stating, “It’s just another love story,” but what follows is far from ordinary. The story revolves around Prabhu (Pavish), who falls in love with Priya’s character, while Nila (Anikha) is getting ready for her wedding with Siddharth Shankar. However, everything takes a dramatic turn when Prabhu reveals that Nila is his ex-girlfriend and this is how the roller coaster of emotions, humor, and chaos ensue.
With visually stunning cinematography, an engaging narrative, and an energetic soundtrack composed by GV Prakash, NEEK promises a delightful mix of romance and comedy. Dhanush sums it up perfectly with the tagline, “Come to enjoy jolly hours. Go back home with jolly memories.”
Backed by Wunderbar Films and RK Productions, NEEK is produced by Dhanush, Kasthuri Raja, and Vijayalakshmi Kasthuri. The Telugu version hit theaters on February 21, distributed by Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP. Adding to the excitement, Priyanka Mohan and Dhanush will make special cameo appearances in the film.
