Vijayawada: During a YSRCP gathering in Shantipuram, Kuppam constituency, CM Jagan delivered strong criticisms against TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu’s 35-year tenure as MLA, questioning his contributions to the constituency and asserting the delivery of Krishna water. In response, TDP senior leader Devineni Uma rebutted CM Jagan’s assertions. Uma argued that Chandrababu had focused on water storage in dams and initiated the Handri-Neeva project to revitalize Rayalaseema.
He challenged Jagan’s claims, questioning progress on lift schemes like Chitravathi, Gandikota, and Pulivendula, and criticized the neglect of projects like Galeru-Nagari and Telugu Ganga. Uma demanded accountability for the alleged expenditure of Rs. 22,000 crores, urging for transparency through the release of a white paper.
