“Devara: Part 1,” directed by Koratala Siva and starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, is currently in production, with the team shooting in scenic locations in Goa. Recently, a video clip from the sets, captured by a fan, surfaced online, showcasing Jr NTR filming a scene amidst the picturesque backdrop of Goa’s coastline. The leaked footage gives fans a glimpse of the film’s setting, confirming that much of the story unfolds near the sea, in line with earlier promotional material.
The film’s crew is in Goa to shoot crucial scenes, including a song sequence. Production has been ongoing in Hyderabad and Goa since 2023, with most filming completed by December, leaving only a few significant scenes and songs remaining.
“Devara” marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Besides, Janhvi has also signed up for Ram Charan’s next project under Buchi Babu Sana’s direction. In “Devara,” Jr NTR essays the titular role, while Saif portrays Bhaira and Janhvi plays Thangam. The ensemble cast also includes Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Insane Ashraf, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, Abhimanyu Singh, and Shruti Marathe. The first installment is scheduled for release in October, followed by the second part.
The film boasts music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by R Rathnavelu, and editing by A Sreekar Prasad, promising an immersive cinematic experience for the audience.
