NTR’s ‘Devara : Part 1’ is undoubtedly the most eagerly awaited film of the season because no other big-ticket film released after Kalki 2898AD which hit the screens in June this year as Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 was deferred from August 15th. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, is gearing up for a humongous release on September 27th. Even before the launch of the trailer, the pre-release sales are trending in a never-before manner in North America.
Now, the team has decided to amplify the buzz further with the theatrical trailer. Usually, trailers of pan-India films release ten days before release. But, the trailer of Devara is set to be unveiled more than 15 days before its release. As speculated in the media, the trailer will be out on September 10th. Talk in the industry circles is that the trailer will be launched by NTR during a mega event in Mumbai.
On the eve of Vinayaka Chavithi, a terrific poster featuring NTR in an intense look and dressed up in a black traditional outfit, standing on a rock in the midst of fiery waves in a sea is unveiled to announce the trailer release date. He holds a dreadful weapon in his hands. His serious glare and mannerisms suggests that he is sign of fear and violence for his opponents.
Devara has NTR playing dual roles. He will appear in father and son characters. The story is said be based on the illegal activities happening inside a sea and how NTR turns a saviour for his clan is the core plot of the film.
Saif Ali Khan is the prime antagonist and Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead in the film.
