Devara is the second film from the collaboration of NTR and Koratala Shiva. It is well-known that their previous project was Janatha Garage. Released on September 27 as a pan-India film, Devara has received mixed reactions in terms of reviews but is creating new records at the box office. The Dasara holidays have become a significant advantage for the film. With no major releases in the coming days, Devara is set to dominate the Dasara holidays.
Meanwhile, NTR, who traveled to the United States two days before the film’s release, returned to Hyderabad on Wednesday. In fact, the success celebrations for the film were scheduled to take place in Guntur on Thursday with fans. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, this did not materialize. The police did not grant permission for the success meet in both Telugu states due to the Devi Navaratri celebrations.
The distributor and producer, Nagavanshi, also apologized to the fans regarding this matter. However, the success celebrations for Devara were grandly held on Thursday at a star hotel in Hyderabad, attended by prominent figures from Tollywood. The event, kept away from fans and media, saw the participation of NTR, other cast members, renowned director S.S. Rajamouli, and producers Dil Raju, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Danayya, Nagavanshi, along with the distributors of Devara.
