Nearly after four years, RRR actor NTR set his foot outside Hyderabad to shoot outdoors for a film. The last time he shot outside was in 2019 for the Oscar winning Naatu Naatu song in Ukraine. After that, he shot mostly inside sets.
It is well known that NTR reunited with Tollywood director Koratala Siva for the second time after working on Janatha Garage six years ago. Their second film is titled Devara and it is set in the backdrop of coastal lands with an intriguing premise.
After predominantly shooting inside multiple grand set pieces erected on an epic scale in and around Hyderabad for nearly six months, the team for the first time decided to can some pivotal scenes outside the city. A new schedule commenced in Goa today and NTR landed on the sets to commence shooting.
As the film has a never-before-seen sea backdrop, director Koratala Siva wanted to bring some authenticity to his narration and deliver a real cinematic experience for moviegoers. So, he locked some of the coastal areas like Goa, Gokarna and Vishakapatnam to shoot in the coming days.
Devara stars Jahnvi Kapoor as the female lead. She is expected to join the sets very soon. Saif Ali Khan is the main baddie and he has completed a majority of his part.
The film is being made in two parts. The first part will hit the screens on April 5th.
