Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan held a review meeting with officials at the assembly committee hall, where he addressed the issue of 15th Finance Commission funds. He questioned officials about the diversion of funds during the previous government’s tenure and expressed frustration over the lack of funds allocated to local bodies.
Pawan Kalyan instructed the officials to provide details on the amount of funds diverted to the CFMS account and demanded a report from the finance commission on the total funds diverted, specifically those meant for local bodies.
Additionally, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan discussed measures to curb the spread of seasonal diseases across the state. He reviewed the incidence of diarrhoea in Vijayawada and Jaggayyapet, attributing it to deficiencies in the drinking water supply in Vijayawada. He directed officials to prepare an action plan to control seasonal diseases.
