The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi postponed the decision on BRS leader K Kavitha’s regular bail plea in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case to May 6. Kavitha, along with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, had their judicial custody extended till May 7 in the excise policy case. Kavitha’s custody was also prolonged in the CBI’s investigation into the Delhi excise policy case. Kavitha, a Telangana Legislative Council member, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 15, 2024, in connection with the alleged liquor policy scam.
