New Delhi: On Wednesday, a special CBI court at Rouse Avenue extended the judicial custody of BRS MLC Kavitha until July 7. Kavitha, who is currently held in Tihar jail in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case, appeared before the court virtually as her previous custody period ended. The court subsequently decided to extend her custody. Kavitha was initially arrested by the ED in March for her involvement in the liquor policy case, and was later taken into custody by the CBI. She has been in Tihar jail for the past four months.
