Indian actress Deepika Padukone has been selected for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the year 2026, becoming the first Indian actress to receive the honour in the Motion Pictures category. The announcement was made by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which released a list of 35 individuals chosen for the prestigious recognition.
Deepika’s name features alongside global stars such as Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, and Emily Blunt, drawing widespread appreciation from fans and the film fraternity. The recognition marks a significant milestone in her international career.
Having made her acting debut in 2006, Deepika entered Hollywood with xXx: Return of Xander Cage in 2017. She is currently working on a multilingual film directed by Atlee and co-starring Allu Arjun. She is also set to appear in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
