A high-level meeting of top BJP leaders is scheduled to take place in Amaravati on March 2 and 3, with the participation of BJP National General Secretary, Shiv Prakash. Invitations have been extended to BJP state core committee leaders and district leaders for their attendance at these crucial gatherings, where discussions on potential alliances are anticipated. Clarity on the BJP’s alliance strategy in Andhra Pradesh is expected to emerge within the next week following these deliberations. Against this backdrop, Andhra Pradesh BJP Chief, Purandeswari, faced questions from the media regarding statements made by Pawan Kalyan regarding the “high command” in the context of alliances.
When questioned if Pawan Kalyan repeatedly referred to himself as the high command, Purandeswari redirected the inquiry back to Pawan Kalyan himself, stating that such queries should be directed towards him. She emphasized that as she was not the high command, she could not comment further. When pressed about Kalyan’s assertion of “eating scoldings from above,” Purandeswari maintained that Pawan Kalyan should provide clarification on his remarks, indicating her lack of involvement in the matter.
