Amaravati: Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu officially joined the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the CM office in Vijayawada. This event, attended by Deputy CM Narayana Swamy and MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy, was shared on the YSRCP’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Ambati Rayudu, who retired from cricket after the 2023 IPL season, represented Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad in domestic cricket. He cited the welfare schemes of the YS Jagan-led government as the reason for joining YSRCP and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people.
