The superstar Rajnikanth’s most anticipated flick Coolie has hit the screens worldwide amidst huge hype and expectations.
Touted to be a gangster drama, this film has grossed an impressive 380 crores by the end of the first week despite having mixed reviews. This film also has tough competition from Hrithik-NTR starrer War-2. Coolie is doing exceptionally overseas as well and as per the latest reports, it has collected more than $8 million by the end of the first week. This showcases the stamina of Rajinikanth at the box office.
Akkineni Nagarjuna has played the lead antagonist, and Upendra is seen in a pivotal role. The music machine Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music, and Lokesh Kanagaraj helmed the direction. Sun Pictures has bankrolled this project with a whopping budget.
