Congress leadership is reportedly serious over the comments made by MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy and the TPCC is proposing to initiate disciplinary action against him. After he was denied cabinet berth during the recent cabinet expansion, MLA Rajagopal Reddy’s behavior has become a topic of discussion in the party. Particularly, he is targeting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Now the TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud has indicated that they are looking into his `anti-party comments’. It seems that the Telangana PCC disciplinary committee is ready to take action against him.
Mahesh Goud said that they are examining Rajagopal’s comments. He said that the chairman of the disciplinary committee, Mallu Ravi, has recommended him and they will find out why Rajagopal Reddy spoke like that. Meanwhile, it seems that the party high command has also inquired about these comments made in a row.
MLA Rajagopal Reddy has been lashing out at the Congress government and CM Revanth Reddy repeatedly due to dissatisfaction over not getting a ministerial post. He alleged that the top leaders of the state prevented the Congress party high command from fulfilling its promise to give him a ministerial post. He is saying several times that he joined the Congress only because he was given a promise of ministerial post.
He expressed his displeasure that he was being distanced by giving ministerial posts to juniors in the Congress party. He said that Congress elders had said that they would give him a ministerial post if they win the Bhuvanagiri MP. He said that from now on he would go no matter how far he went.
