Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan during an event held at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant grounds. Serving as the chief guest at the ‘Visakhapatnam Steel – Andhra’s Right’ meeting on Saturday evening, Reddy delivered a fervent address.
“In Andhra Pradesh, both Jagan and Chandrababu seem to align themselves with Modi, regardless of the election outcomes. BJP essentially stands for Babu, Jagan, and Pawan Kalyan,” Revanth Reddy remarked, highlighting the political dynamics in the region. He emphasized the need for leaders who question and advocate for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh, asserting, “We, as Telugus, stand united despite state boundaries, and it’s imperative to have a voice of dissent in Delhi.”
Revanth Reddy criticized the lack of accountability in Andhra Pradesh over the past decade, alleging that Modi seeks to exert control over the state’s affairs through local representatives. He questioned whether Jagan, Chandrababu, and Pawan Kalyan possess the fortitude to challenge Modi’s authority. He pledged his support to the people, asserting that he stands with them in their struggles. He urged the crowd to support Sharmila, emphasizing her commitment to addressing their grievances. Revanth Reddy questioned whether Chandrababu and Jagan would advocate for Andhra Pradesh’s interests in Delhi and raised concerns over the delayed completion of the Polavaram project despite years of governance by both parties.
