Hyderabad: Justice Narasimha Reddy, investigating alleged irregularities in power purchase agreements during the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, announced that the commission had received a letter from former chief minister and BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He stated that the letter’s contents, which include details about the power purchase agreement with Chhattisgarh and issues related to the Bhadradri and Yadadri Thermal Power Plants, need expert discussion.
Justice Narasimha Reddy noted that the commission had begun studying the letter and reiterated that Chandrasekhar Rao could be summoned if his reply is unsatisfactory. He also directed his team to review the legal points raised by Rao with a legal team for further analysis.
