Amaravati: The anticipation surrounding the allocation of a ticket to Minister Gudivada Amarnath for the upcoming elections remains unresolved. The ticket for the Anakapalli constituency, traditionally represented by Amarnath, has already been assigned to another candidate, leaving no avenue for his candidacy. Consequently, the minister appears to be distancing himself from party engagements. A review of industrial investments was conducted at the secretariat, where Minister Amarnath, accustomed to his ministerial role, found himself in the chief minister’s seat. In an unusual turn of events, the chief minister assumed his usual seat for the review session.
The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) expressed concern over Minister Amarnath occupying the CM’s chair, prompting objections. TDP leader Dhulipalla Narendra shared a video on social media depicting the minister in the CM’s seat, sparking further controversy. GAD officials received inquiries from the CMO regarding the incident. While factions within the YSRCP express discontent with Minister Gudivada’s conduct, others resort to sarcasm on social media platforms. Unfortunately, some netizens speculate that the minister harbors aspirations of becoming the chief minister.
