CM YS Jagan participated in the distribution of house site pattas in Ongole, Prakasam district, highlighting the difference between the current and previous administrations. “For the first time, the poor are being granted full rights over house plots through pattas, ensuring their ownership,” he emphasized. He assured that these registrations couldn’t be canceled or encroached upon. He also noted that possessing a degree would facilitate bank loans, a measure neglected by the previous government. Under his leadership, aarogyasri coverage has been increased to Rs 25 lakh, with enhanced treatment options for the poor, totaling 3,300 methods.
Additionally, a family doctor policy is being implemented to offer healthcare at home. Direct cash transfers amounting to Rs 2.55 lakh crore have been disbursed to the needy. Nominated posts were previously limited to specific groups, but now they’re accessible to weaker sections. Education reforms include bilingual books for English medium schooling, tablets for 8th graders, and digital education in government schools. Educational standards are being elevated to foster international competitiveness, and the transformation of government schools through Nadu-Nedu is evident.
