Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy visited the GGH in Vizianagaram and consoled the Train accident victims. He assured the victims of complete support from the government side till they recovered completely from the trauma. YS Jagan asked the district collector S. Nagalakshmi to disburse the ex gratia amount announced to the bereaved families and the injured immediately without any delay. He has also ordered to ensure the best available treatment for them.
The Chief Minister arrived at the hospital at 1:20 PM and visited the exhibition point first where the photos of the train accident were displayed. He had a brief interaction with the officials and then he started consoling the victims.
Education minister Botsa Satyanarayana, industries minister Gudivada Amarnath, local MLA Veerabhadra Swamy, Mayor Vijayalakshmi, ST commissioner Shankar Rao, and others were present along with the CM. He later conducted an aerial survey of the accident site at Kantakapalli.
