CM Revanth Reddy slams KCR Regime Brought Dharani portal To Grab Land

Tuesday, December 9, 2025

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy lashed out at the KCR regime for bringing in a portal called Dharani to grab land for money and land, and for removing the VRO and VRA system so that people would not know the details of the lands.

Participating in a program to hand over appointment documents to village administration officers at Hitex in Hyderabad, Revanth Reddy lamented that people did not face problems due to revenue officers, but due to the revenue portal called Dharani.

The Chief Minister deplored that the previous BRS government portrayed revenue employees as evildoers and that they were terminated because of some minor mistakes in the system. The Kaleshwaram project collapsed after three years, will they be terminated?, he said.

He asserted that there is an inseparable connection between land and the people of Telangana. He recalled that all the struggles in Telangana State revolved around land and great personalities like Komurambheem, Chakali Ailamma, Doddi Komaraiah and Ravinarayana Reddy fought for land.

He stated that the Revenue Department staff participated enthusiastically in the separate state movement and the Revenue Department staff played a key role in the achievement of the state. The role of RTC, Singareni and electricity department workers was also unforgettable, he said.

“They brought the Dharani to seize the land with greed for money and land. They removed the VRO and VRA so that the people would not know the details of the Dharani. They thought that if the VRO and VRA were not removed, their evil deeds would be exposed”, he said.

Revanth Reddy alleged that the previous government removed VRO and VRS system fearing that their evil deeds would be exposed and  they were an obstacle to their exploitation. He said that before the elections, they used to ask about the problems of the Dharani.

He recalled that they had promised before the elections that after the Congress Party came to power, the Dharani would be thrown into the Bay of Bengal.  The CM said that Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy did not ask for the Revenue Department and that he was given it in recognition of his competence.

“They removed the VRO and VRA because they were an obstacle to their exploitation. Before the elections, they would raise the Dharani issues with anyone they greeted. We fulfilled the promise that the Dharani would be thrown into the Bay of Bengal,” he added.
