Hyderabad: Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, has responded robustly to ongoing social media criticism stemming from his prior comparison of the CM’s post to that of a “Gumpu mestri” (construction worker) before the Telangana assembly elections. Addressing the trolls during a TPCC meeting at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, Revanth Reddy asserted, “Yes, I am a mason to rebuild Telangana, which you have destroyed. I will be in Indravalli this month. Await it.”
Highlighting his commitment to rebuilding the state, Revanth Reddy accused KCR of appointing Rajya Sabha members involved in the alleged looting of Telangana’s wealth. He emphasized the Congress party’s selection of Samuel, despite financial constraints, and credited the party for his elevation to the Chief Minister’s position. Additionally, Revanth Reddy pledged the government’s commitment to fulfil two more promises, assuring cash deposits in farmers’ accounts under the Rythu Bharosa scheme by the end of February.
