In Hyderabad, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced the release of a DSC notification, aiming to fill 11,062 teaching positions throughout the State. He was joined by Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat and other notable officials. This follows the State Government’s issuance of GOMs. 96 on August 25, which outlined the filling of 5089 teaching roles spanning various categories such as SAs, SGTs, LPs, and PETs. Subsequently, the Commissioner of School Education, Telangana, released the DSC-2023 Notification on September 6, 2023, addressing these 5089 positions.
Moreover, a recent development on February 26 of this year saw the issuance of GOMs No., aiming to fill an additional 4957 Direct Recruitment teacher vacancies in Government and Local Body Schools. The Finance department further approved the recruitment of 796 Special Education Teachers for Primary Level and 220 for Upper Primary/Secondary Level. Consequently, the total Direct Recruitment posts for DSC-2024 now stand at 11,062, reflecting the government’s commitment to addressing the educational needs of the State.
