LIVE : Pocharam Srinivas Reddy Joins Congress

Former Telangana Speaker and Banswada MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has delivered a significant blow to the BRS party by joining the Congress. On Friday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Pocharam’s residence and invited him to join the Congress. Pocharam accepted the invitation and donned the Congress scarf in the presence of Revanth Reddy, who assured him a prominent position within the party. The Chief Minister commended Pocharam for his dedication to farmers’ welfare. Pocharam’s son also made the switch to Congress.

Pocharam Srinivas Reddy stated that his decision to change parties was driven by his commitment to farmers’ welfare, with no personal political aspirations. He praised the Congress government for its sincere efforts over the past six months to support farmers, despite facing numerous challenges. Pocharam also reflected on his political journey, noting that it began with the Congress.
