Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is going to visit the Kanakadurga temple on October 20th. He is going to offer silk robes to the goddess Durga as a part of the Dasara festivities. The day marks the auspicious Moola Nakshatram.
The Chief Minister advised the temple authorities and the district administration not to stop the queue lines during his visit. However, the authorities canceled the VVIPs and VIPs Antaralaya Darshanam on Moola Nakshatram day.
Endowment minister Kottu Satyanarayana, NTR district collector Dilli Rao, NTR police commissioner KR Tata, and Durga temple executive officer Rama Rao monitored the situation continuously as there was a huge rush at the temple in the morning and evening darshans. Arrangements were made such that the devotees should complete their darshan in an hour, said the authorities.
The Minister and the Collector interacted with the devotees and resolved some of the issues they faced on the spot.
