It is well known that Union Home Minister Amit Shah organized a meeting with the Chief Ministers regarding the Left-wing extremism review where 10 states Chief Ministers of Naxal-influenced states participated. YS Jaganmohan Reddy spoke at length in the meeting about the state government’s precautions to limit the naxal influence in the state. He said that due to the government’s measures, the naxals effect is currently limited to certain areas in Alluri Sitharamaraju district. He updated that the cadre of Naxals was decreased from 250 to just 50.
