Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the state, which has been damaged in every way in the last five years, is being restored. Responding to the debate on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address in the Assembly, he said that some people who are incapable of governing have degraded the state.
He said that along with unemployment and lack of employment, debts have increased massively and the economy has been damaged. He said that this situation is being restored and the goal is to create a poverty-free society and that houses will be built for the homeless poor in five years.
Chandrababu said that three cents of land will be given to the rural poor and two cents to the urban poor. He said that the P4 policy will be unveiled on Ugadi. He said that he is working towards creating 20 lakh jobs. He said that MoUs have already been completed for investments of Rs. 6.50 lakh crore.
The Chief Minister said that five lakh jobs will be created through the latest investments. He said that he will work sincerely to fulfill the promises made to the people before the elections. He explained that they are spending Rs. 34,000 crores annually on pensions alone and the Center has given Rs. 12,000 crores for Polavaram. He said that they will build the capital of Amaravati so that everyone will be proud.
Chandrababu announced that `ThallikI Vandanam’ program will be started from the month of May and every child of the family will be provided assistance. He asserted that they will not hesitate in welfare and at the same time ignore development. Healleged that the grants given by the Center in the past have not been used either.
The Chief Minister deplored that the Assembly was turned into a Kaurava Sabha in the past and that they acted like rowdies. He said that people who could not tolerate the injustices they did defeated them in the elections and sent them home. He deplored that if they win 11 MLAs, they will leave without sitting in the Assembly for even 11 minutes.
He said that they are saying that they will come to the Assembly if they are given opposition status, but that should be given by the people, not the government. He said that TDP, Jana Sena and BJP contested together to face the injustices of the past rulers, and there is no selfishness in it. He appreciated that the Center is supporting them after coming to power.
