CM Chandrababu says Connectivity Revolution came with Indigenous 4G Network

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that the connectivity revolution has come in the country with the indigenous 4G network. He said that connecting all the remote areas of the country with indigenously made technology is an indicator of progress. On Saturday, the Chief Minister attended and addressed the inauguration ceremony of BSNL’s indigenous 4G network at the A Convention Center in Vijayawada.

Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, Minister Satyakumar Yadav and top BSNL officials participated in the program. The Chief Minister virtually participated in the indigenous 4G network program launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Jharsuguda, Odisha. BSNL will provide 4G indigenous networks in 97,500 areas of the country.

Prime Minister Modi virtually launched 4G services in 108 villages across the country, including 10 remote villages in AP. Chief Minister Chandrababu commented that the country has been in trouble for years without a leader to lead. He said that Prime Minister Modi is in the right place as the right leader for the country.

That is why, he said that revolutionary changes like the indigenous 4G network are taking place in the country. He recalled that since 1995, the country has been dreaming of moving forward in terms of technology and information technology, and it is now being realized. He said that with the report given in the telecom sector in the past, revolutionary changes have now come to this sector.

CM Chandrababu clarified that reforms like deregulation are the reason for this change. He said that BSNL is a powerful company in the country with a communication network of one billion subscribers. He appreciated  that it is commendable that currently 1 lakh 4G sites have been set up across the country and 4 petabytes of data are being provided every day.

He said that connecting a total of 26,707 remote villages with 4G technology will be another crucial step forward for the country’s progress. The CM commented that it is historic that India has become one of the few countries to have built a 4G stack. He praised Prime Minister Modi for allocating additional funds to BSNL to provide better services to the people.

The Chief Minister said that the Covid vaccine made in India has saved people in 100 countries. He said that the UPI digital payments system, which was introduced at that time, is now also being used in countries like France and Singapore. He said that many products and technologies made in India are being used by foreign countries.
