On the occasion of the completion of one year of the coalition government in power, Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has decided to organize a ‘Tholi Adugu’ program in good governance. He instructed the TDP ranks to undertake this program for a month from the 23rd of this month and to explain the government’s programs from door to door under the name ‘Vijaya Yatra’.
On the occasion of the completion of one year of rule, he held a teleconference with TDP MPs, MLAs, key leaders and village level activists on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that everyone from the leader to the cadre should participate in the Vijaya Yatra. He suggested that the coalition activists should take the good programs being implemented by the government and every program undertaken to the people.
He said that in addition to telling about what was done in the first year, they should also counter the negative publicity against the government. He recalled that despite financial difficulties, they are implementing important schemes within a year. He said that they are giving a better Thalliki Vandanam scheme without changing the rules as promised in the elections.
He expressed anger that the government is being criticized without wisdom and knowledge while implementing this scheme for all children. He said that the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme will be launched on the 20th of this month. He said that the Mahanadu was a success and that the party’s organizational committees should be completed.
Chandrababu assured that those who work hard for the party should be given opportunities and that everyone’s opinions should be taken into account and given positions in the committees. He said that leadership training camps will be organized for activists and leaders from July.
He appreciated that the activists had worked very hard when they were not in power. He also suggested that the MLAs should allocate some time every day for party programs and should constantly interact with the people. “We are organizing World Yoga Day in Visakhapatnam on the 21st with 5 lakh people. On the same day, we have set a target of making 2 crore people participate in yoga across the state”, said Chandrababu.
