Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu accused that the YSRCP is conspiring to create division between castes, religions and regions in Andhra Pradesh. He was angry that they tried to provoke different sections of people against each other on the issues like Pastor Praveen, Tirumala Goshala and Waqf Bill.
He was angry that all the YSRCP leaders are trying to throw mud at the AP government by bringing up one issue after another. CM Chandrababu spoke to the ministers after the AP cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
“Whatever decision we take, let us make it clear to the people. We are clear on the issues of Waqf Bill and SC classification”, he said. He alleged that YSRCP acted in three ways on the Waqf Bill. The party’s MPs opposed it in the Lok Sabha and voted in favor of it in the Rajya Sabha. On the other hand, he said they came out and filed a petition in the Supreme Court again.
Moreover, he said that they are also acting in a way that incites hatred in the case of Pastor Praveen. He made it clear that everyone should understand what the YSRCP’s stance is. He warned that the state government and coalition leaders should be careful in such matters.
Meanwhile, CM Chandrababu has expressed his anger at some ministers, saying, “No matter how many times we say something, there will be no change among some ministers.” He lashed out at the ministers for failing to refute YSRCP’s lies on the death of cows at SV Goshala.
He deplored that while we are implementing welfare programs that cannot be implemented anywhere in the country, the ministers are failing to take them to the people. He suggested that the districts should be taken as a unit and the party, government and ministers should coordinate to take development and welfare programs to the people.
He made it clear that the government is responsible for the mistakes made by personal secretaries and OSDs. He warned them to correct them. Chandrababu also advised the ministers to stay away from corrupt officials. Keep them away from them.
He said that they should respond with restraint on religious issues. “We are unable to say what we have done. We are unable to respond properly”, he said. Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that this should be changed now.
