During a recent event, Chiyaan Vikram was questioned about the chances of a sequel to ‘Thangalaan.’ He confirmed that there is potential not just for a sequel, but also for a prequel. Vikram expressed confidence that they would proceed with the next part and even suggested the possibility of expanding the story into four installments, given the wealth of narratives connected to the film. He also mentioned that each subsequent film would have distinct storylines, with the protagonist’s appearance and costumes changing accordingly in the new chapters.
Malavika Mohanan takes on the role of the antagonist in this high-budget entertainer. The film also features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Sampath Ram, and Hari Krishnan in key roles. It is a joint production by Neelam Productions, Studio Green, and Jio Studios, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
