The mighty megastar Chiranjeevi is opting for the remakes for some reasons better known to him. After the mixed response to the remake ‘Bhola Shankar’, the matinee idol is in talks to remake another movie with another senior director.
Going into the details, the senior director V V Vinayak who gave two blockbusters like Tagore and Khaidi No: 150 wants to bounce back in his career since no one is giving chance. Chiru who is a good companion has asked the director to come up with a bound script but Vinayak has been rumored to be opted for his lucky charm with Chiru, that is remakes. Sources close to the director say that Vinayak is thinking to remake ‘Bro Daddy’ into Telugu by choosing a young hero but the final decision is still in the hands of Chiranjeevi. However, an official announcement is awaited from both Chiru and Vinayak in this regard. The director recently scored a dud with Bellamkonda Srinivas in Hindi and he wants to score a hit at any cost with his idol Chiranjeevi.
Meanwhile, the hardcore fans of Chiru are asking the hero to stop doing remakes since most of them are getting bombed. They show the recent remake ‘Bhola Shankar’ as an example since the movie received a huge backlash even from the fans. Apart from this speculated project, Chiranjeevi has lined up straight films with the young directors Vasista and Kalyan Krishna as his upcoming two projects.
