Megastar Chiranjeevi is hardly taking any breaks these days. While shooting for one film, he is finalizing his next projects and immediately shifting attention towards them. After wrapping up Waltair Veerayya, Chiru took no time to commence shooting for his next project Bholaa Shankar which is getting ready for release on August 11th.
Meanwhile, the pre-production phase of his next project is currently underway. As reported earlier, Chiru will team up with Soggade Chinni Nayana and Banggaraju fame director Kalyana Krishna Kusarla for an out-and-out masala entertainer. The regular shooting will commence after August and the team is currently on the lookout for other artists to essay significant roles in the film. Already, Sree Leela and Siddhu Jonnalagadda have been signed up for important characters.
As per the latest reports, the makers of this film have approached star heroine Trisha Krishnan to play the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi. Reportedly, Trisha liked the script very much and sounded optimistic. She promised to adjust the dates and sign the dotted line. If Trisha comes on board, this will be her second outing with Chiranjeevi after Stalin which was released in 2006. Trisha was supposed to play the female lead in Chiru’s Acharya. But, she backed out from the project in the last minute.
Trisha is currently one of the busy actors down South. After her impressive performance in Mani Ratnam’s Magnum Opus Ponniyin Selvan, Trisha is back in the reckoning all over South India. She is currently busy shooting for Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming gangster drama Leo. She is also in consideration for a couple of upcoming Tamil biggies.
