The mighty megastar of the Telugu Film Industry, Chiranjeevi is a busy man with regular shooting and hearing a lot of scripts for his next. Information from his close aids reveals that this veteran star is looking forward to working on a prequel for the first time in his career.
Megastar teamed up with the Tamil director Mohan Raja for the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’. Titled ‘Godfather’, the movie impressed critics and class audiences but ended up as above average at the box office which is not on par with Megastar’s box office stamina. However, deeply impressed by the making and working style of Mohan Raja, who gave a good product after a disaster like ‘Acharya’, Chiranjeevi reportedly asked Raja to come up with a prequel to the ‘Godfather’.
We can see the character of ‘Brahma’ revealing himself as ‘Qureshi’, a don in the Middle East in the climax so the prequel is all about how a Chiru rose to become a don who dictates the Gold smuggling in the entire Middle East. As of now, the ball is in the court of Mohan Raja and if he impresses Chiru with the script, the prequel will happen in the second half of this year but Mohan Raja is also working on the sequel of ‘Dhruva-2’ for Mega power star Ram Charan Tej. One has to wait and see if this prequel happens for real anytime sooner. Meanwhile, Megastar is occupied with the regular shooting of his immediate next, ‘Bhola Shankar’ under the director Meher Ramesh and this will be out at any cost for Dussehra.
