Megastar Chiranjeevi has been honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the UK government for his outstanding contributions to cinema and society for over four decades. The award will be presented on March 19 at the UK Parliament (House of Commons).
UK Labour Party MP Navendu Mishra will felicitate Chiranjeevi, with other parliamentarians, including Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman, in attendance.
On the same occasion, Bridge India, a prominent UK-based public policy think tank, will confer the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Public Service through Cultural Leadership,’ recognizing Chiranjeevi’s remarkable achievements in the fields of cinema, social service, and philanthropy. Notably, this is the first time Bridge India is presenting this award.
This international recognition adds to Chiranjeevi’s accolades, including the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian award, received in 2024. He also secured a Guinness World Record as the most versatile actor and dancer and was honored with the prestigious ANR National Award by the Akkineni International Foundation.
